At the doctoral level, Dr. Davis teaches the two-semester personality-assessment sequence (Measurement and Assessment II and III) and the two-semester Practicum Consultation-Groups on Evidence-Based Practices and Psychotherapy Integration. He also teaches Abnormal Psychology at the undergraduate level. Besides his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Davis mentors students, cofacilitates the Interpersonal Neurobiology Research Group and the Relational Spirituality Research Group, and serves on the Admissions and Academic Qualifications Committee. His clinical and research interests include personality psychology, psychological assessment, interpersonal neurobiology, adult attachment, mindfulness, mentoring, and the psychology of religion and spirituality—particularly the embodied, emotional experience of divine attachment figures such as God and Jesus.
