Dr. Kim specializes in the critical integration of theology, psychology, and education with a particular interest in spiritual formation and leadership development. His areas of expertise include philosophy and history of Christian Education, educational and developmental foundations of Christian ministry, and principles of research. He has co-authored a book on the history of Christian Education, The Heritage of Christian Education (College Press, 2003), and presented papers to various professional gatherings including the North American Professors of Christian Education (NAPCE), the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS), the Institute for Leadership Development and Study of Pacific and Asian North American Religion (PANA), and the Korean American Ministers of Education (KASSCON). He currently serves as a research presentation coordinator for NAPCE and has an active speaking ministry in local churches.
