Julie Ramsey serves on the faculty of Biola University where she conducts Biola Women's Chorus and teaches conducting, and is on the faculty of the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music on the campus of California State University, Long Beach where she conducts the Women's Chorus. She is currently the Director of Music at Bay Shore Community Congregational Church in Long Beach and conducts the Chancel Choir and Children's Choir. She has previously taught at the Orange County High School of the Arts and in the Garden Grove Unified School District at the middle school and elementary level, and has sung with the LA Master Choral, Pacific Chorale, William Hall Chorale and Cantori Domino.
Ms. Ramsey is a graduate of CSULB with a Master of Music in Choral Conducting, and holds a BA in Music Education from UCLA. She is a frequent adjudicator for the Music in the Parks and Festivals at Sea choral music festivals, and is an active member of the American Choral Director's Association and the National Association of Church Musicians.
