THE HELEN GRACE COLBERT YATES LOAN PROGRAM Helen Grace Colbert Yates was a woman who believed in the field of Speech-Language Pathology. She demonstrated this by leaving a sum of money to be distributed as no-interest loans to students studying this field. Loans are approximately $2500 per school year & can be re-applied for each year. This loan may only be used for tuition, books and lab fees and may not be used for room, board or travel expenses and may not be disbursed as cash to the student. CD DEPARTMENT SCHOLARSHIPS Three to four of these scholarships are given out each school year, which range from $1000 to $2500. They are intended for students who have demonstrated good academic performance (GPA 3.0 or above) and who have a financial need. TEACHER ASSISTANT/CLINICAL ASSISTANT The CD department will be budgeted a sum of money next year (07-08) to pay for teacher and clinical assistants that will assist either professor Rouse or Hernandez. These work positions are intended for either juniors or seniors who have taken many of the lower level CD classes. If interested, use the application form below to apply. |
